Fairfax and Loudoun courthouses stand on the same ground where the Declaration of Indepeance was read to county citizens in 1776.

Fairfax Courthouse (left) in Fairfax, and Loudoun Courthouse (right) in Leesburg, northern Virginia. Both buildings still stand on the same ground where the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming American freedom, was read to county citizens in 1776 by order of His Excellency the Governer of Virginia.

Welcome to the website for the Cameron Parish Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. We are located in 20 miles west of our nation's capital. Our chapter is part of District V of the Virginia State DAR.

Our chapter was formed in 1979, the chapter name being derived from the church parish that once straddled both Fairfax and Loudoun County lines in the northern tip of Virginia. We are proud that this area was home to many patriots who fought for and supported the causes of American independence. Our chapter is comprised of about 90 members of diverse ages and talents residing in both counties.

We invite you to browse through the pages for information regarding our chapter and activities. Prospective members who wish to attend our chapter meetings are invited to contact the Chapter Regent for dates and times.
